Epicly Later’d – Ray Barbee

The first pro board I ever had was Ray Barbee’s Powell one with the ragdoll sitting on the fire hydrant, so getting this interview with him was a complete thrill. Ray is famously one of the nicest, happiest, and most positive skaters of all time. I feel like skaters today are way too negative and judgemental, myself included. Ray’s skating is like music in motion (no seriously). He brought a whole new style to the sport, new tricks, and most importantly a new attitude. All you Snidely Whiplashes out there with your permasmirks could take a lesson.
